Customers tend to transact more with business that have email campaigns, says survey

When a company markets through email (in a non-spammy fashion), customers tend to conduct businesses with them more, both online and offline. This is according to the latest Epsilon survey on online businesses.

Of the 1,517 U.S. consumers surveyed, roughly 49% or 746 said that they receive permission-based emails from retailers. Of this figure, 56% said that they are more likely to conduct business with retailers that send email.
